Welcome to Streamline Gear. By accessing or using our website (streamline-gear.com) or engaging our career coaching services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

2. Services Description

Streamline Gear provides professional career coaching services, including but not limited to:

Career assessment and strategy development
CV and LinkedIn profile optimization
Interview preparation and coaching
Personal branding workshops
Career transition support programs

Our services are advisory in nature. We provide guidance and support, but we cannot guarantee specific outcomes such as job offers or salary increases.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms of Use.

4. User Account and Registration

When you book our services, you agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information
Maintain and promptly update your information
Maintain the confidentiality of any account credentials
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

5. Payment Terms

All prices are listed in British Pounds (GBP) and are subject to change without notice. Payment is required in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Payment must be made via our authorized payment methods
All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in our refund policy
You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or fees associated with your purchase
Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of services

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Individual Sessions:

Cancellations made 48+ hours before a scheduled session will receive a full refund
Cancellations made 24-48 hours before a session will receive a 50% refund
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a session are non-refundable
No-shows are non-refundable and will be charged in full

Packages and Programs:

Full refund available within 7 days of purchase if no sessions have been conducted
After the first session, refunds are prorated based on completed sessions
No refunds after 50% of the program has been completed

Rescheduling:

Sessions may be rescheduled without penalty if notice is provided at least 24 hours in advance. Repeated rescheduling may result in forfeiture of the session.

7. Client Responsibilities

To benefit from our services, you agree to:

Attend scheduled sessions on time and prepared
Complete agreed-upon assignments and action items
Communicate openly and honestly about your situation and goals
Implement recommendations to the best of your ability
Provide timely feedback when requested
Respect the professional boundaries of the coaching relationship

8. Confidentiality

We respect your privacy and maintain confidentiality regarding information shared during coaching sessions, subject to the following exceptions:

You provide written consent to disclose information
Disclosure is required by law or court order
There is a risk of harm to yourself or others
The information is already publicly available

You acknowledge that coaching is not psychotherapy, and we are not bound by the same confidentiality requirements as licensed mental health professionals.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and in our coaching materials, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Streamline Gear or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:

Copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission
Use our trademarks or branding without authorization
Remove or alter copyright or proprietary notices
Frame or mirror our website content on another website

Materials provided to you during coaching (worksheets, templates, etc.) are for your personal use only and may not be shared, sold, or distributed.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
Warranties that our services will meet your specific requirements
Warranties of uninterrupted or error-free service
Guarantees of specific career outcomes or results

Career coaching involves advisory services and guidance. Success depends on many factors beyond our control, including market conditions, employer decisions, and your own efforts.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Streamline Gear and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

Your use or inability to use our services
Any career decisions made based on our advice
Outcomes of job applications or interviews
Loss of employment or income
Unauthorized access to or alteration of your information

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Streamline Gear and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

Your violation of these Terms of Use
Your violation of any rights of another party
Your use or misuse of our services
Any information you provide to us

13. Professional Boundaries

Our services are limited to career coaching. We are not:

Licensed psychologists, therapists, or mental health professionals
Legal advisors or lawyers
Financial advisors or accountants
Recruitment agents or headhunters

If you require services beyond career coaching, we may refer you to appropriate professionals but cannot provide those services ourselves.

14. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to:

Breach of these Terms of Use
Fraudulent or illegal activity
Disrespectful or abusive behavior toward our staff
Failure to pay fees when due

You may terminate your relationship with us at any time by providing written notice. Termination does not relieve you of any payment obligations for services already provided.

15. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved through:

Good faith negotiation between the parties
If negotiation fails, mediation through a mutually agreed mediator
If mediation fails, litigation in the courts of England and Wales

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Use is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
